Haley (she/her) has been writing poems since she was a little kid and reconnected with this outlet during the pandemic. Making connections and playing with words while uncovering deeper emotions brings her a lot of joy. She is constantly inspired by nature, societal structures and interactions with loved ones. Her goal is to empower others to give their own feelings space and grace.
When she is not writing poetry, she is reading other poets work, playing the guitar, listening to Taylor Swift, and spending time outside (rock climbing, ice climbing, hiking, camping & scuba diving). Science is another passion of hers, she is currently in her PhD studying how Arctic marine sediments recycle and store carbon.
Haley lives in Halifax, Nova Scotia with her cat Mister. She just released her first poetry collection, called The rediscovery, which is available on Amazon.
